I have been building models ever since I was kid, mostly plastic kits and small airplane kits I bought from
local hobby shops. I have been making models of all kinds; airplanes, ships, military tanks, and even
sci-fi robots. Money was a big issue for me back then as a young kid with no steady income; at most, I
could only afford four or five enamel paint bottles and most of my kits were assembled unpainted. The truth
is, many of them were only good enough for my eyes. Today, it is a totally different story for me. I am comfortable enough where I can just go out and buy several airbrush kits and countless paint color bottles, and modeling tools of all sorts. My skill also has improved dramatically as complicated modeling tools became more affordable and my patience grew with the time. Most of all, the quality of modern model kits are so good, you can't hardly go wrong. I still make models now and then, but now it takes much more time for me to accomplish one given model. |

Soon, my main interest became the focus of modeling: Automobiles! I especially like to make Formula
One racing cars. Formula One has the richest history of racing and I can always find various topics
ranging hundred years of racing cars. It is a challenging subject for scale modeling and the researching part of a
given car is always fun for me. It is quite wonderful to witness these exciting racing cars at my own fingertips.
I must add though that after I got married in 2004, my hobby became . . ., well, just a hobby... I suppose it may sound uninspiring and unenthusiastic at first, but I found something very out of the ordinary... The marriage life actually encouraged me to be more attentive on small details and to be focused of the time spent with this hobby itself. It is a wonderful experience; I can definitely see myself satisfying more and more even though my building hours are limited.
