Another Problem
This seems like another problem that I need to address. How do we repair this? It is exposing the bare plastic. I think the affected
area is small enough, that I think I can touch it up. It will work out well because the base coat is not a light color, I can brush the
damaged area. This is just to show you that there are many ways to repair a problem.

Touch Up!
The damaged area is already polished and cleaned here. Using a clean flat brush (softer the better), I thinned the black paint and brushed
multiple coats. The trick is to brush lightly and to add multiple layers evenly as possible. You can argue that this is not a "text book"
solution, but I this is my way which worked well for me.

This Seems Ugly!
This is what I have after five or six layers of brush strokes I added to the surface. We will have to blend the color with the rest of the
surface by polishing it out later.

Working At It
As I covered this before in this diary, using various grades of sand paper and polish cloths, work this out carefully. Make sure you
do not expose the surface by removing too much paint.

Polishing the Surface
Again, using the polishing compound, I take care of the fine scratch marks and brush strokes.

Acceptable Result?
I still see some dull area, but I will not try to better it. I am planning on applying clear coat at
the final stage, I conclude that the repair is good enough.
